  • DOES HAVING EYELASH EXTENSION DAMAGE YOUR OWN LASHES?
At first, our eyelashes fall out every day just like the hairs on our head. We just don’t realize it because they’re small and fine. Eyelash extensions only get a bad rap because it’s more noticeable to spot natural eyelashes that have shed when they’re glued to long, thick and solid black fibers, and people don’t realize the process is normal and not a result of extensions. Your own eyelashes will, in fact, grow back. Because of the lash shedding cycle, new natural eyelashes are always growing in, hence why you get the "infills". If new eyelashes weren’t always growing back, there would be nothing for the technician to fill. In other words? If eyelash extensions really made your eyelashes cease growing, refills wouldn’t even be possible, because there has to be a natural lash for the extension to adhere to.
  • CAN I WEAR LENSES WITH EYELASHES?
You can. During the eyelash extension, most customers do not even take off their lenses, because this does not affect the wizard in any way. In addition, the lenses will not affect the eyelash wear in any way. Removing and wearing lenses with eyelashes will be as easy as not. And sometimes lenses even help: they protect the mucous membrane from fumes of glue, and even the most sensitive customers do not experience any discomfort during the eyelash extension.
  • HOW TO REMOVE EYELASHES?
In most cases, removal of eyelashes is not required, as they fall out evenly, and not in pieces. Gradually, artificial eyelashes fall off, giving way to native lash. After 3-4 weeks, approximately 20-30% of the initial volume remains. At this point, you can go to the refill or remove the eyelashes. IF YOU CHOOSE TO REMOVE YOUR EYELASHES, YOU WILL NEED A SPECIAL REMEDY CALLED EYELASH REMOVER. Only one type of remover will work for home removal: it's a cream remover or pasta and you can purchase it for home use at Corfu Eyes
  • AFTER STOPPING EXTENSIONS, WILL YOUR OWN LASHES BE THINNER OR SHORTER?
Getting eyelash extensions does not affect the natural growth cycle during or after you decide to stop getting them applied. Many people feel that their natural lashes get thinner or shorter afterwards, but it’s essentially an optical illusion. You get used to waking up every day with thicker, dark, curled, longer lashes. So, understandably, you think your eyelashes are thinner and shorter after the extensions have ended. In actuality, that is not the case and getting extensions has no chemical effect on the thickness or length of the lashes you were born with.
  • HOW DO I CARRY AFTER MY EYELASH EXTENSION?
Considering that eyelash extensions make you pop, it is crucial to take good care of them to make them last longer and get the most out of the value of your money. DO NOT wash your eye, avoid steam and sweat for 2 hours after lash application. DO NOT use oil-based product, cream and waterproof mascara. Use only water-based make up and makeup remover. DO NOT perm, tint or use an eyelash curler. BE Careful to avoid pulling extension or rubbing eyes. To extend the life of your lashes, please schedule refill extension every 4-5 weeks.
  • ARE EYELASHES EXTENSION VEGAN?
Some salons may use mink fur, which does not classify as a vegan. But Corfu Eyes uses only high quality, tried-and-tested, safe, hygienic, synthetic and silk eyelashes that are vegan.
  • HOW MUCH DOES EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Eyelash extension at Corfu Eyes last 4-5 weeks on average. The refill eyelash extension is done once every 4 weeks. Refill allows you to restore the original volume. Τhe process of refill eyelashes, first the lash-artist removes the grown lashes and lashes that do not hold well. Checks all eyelashes and leaves only those that can be corrected. When the lash-artist has removed eyelashes, he embarks on standard lash extension technology. Usually, the refill time is less or almost the same as with a new eyelash extension, since the removal of the grown-ups takes a certain amount of time. The price for the refill is 25 euros less than the new lash extension. As a result, if you make a refill, not a removal + eyelash extension, you save not only money, but also time.
  • DURATION OF THE PROCEDURE
The length of eyelash extension is from 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on the desired volume and the number of your native eyelashes.
  • IS IT SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN?
Yes, you may. Eyelash extension is not a contraindication during pregnancy, the procedure is absolutely safe for mom and future baby. Therefore, our beauties continue to come to us during this happy period of time! And even come to us at a later date to stay with beautiful cilia even in the hospital.
  • CAN I USE MASCARA?
Of course, it is possible. The question is "Why?" We use eyelash extension to make life easier and happier not spend extra money for make-up products and save our morning time. If you have grown your eyelashes and you do not have enough volume, you want thicker lashes, then you can just next time ask the lash-artist to make more volume or use thicker lashes. When you wash off mascara, you will have to actively rub your lashes, and this will lead to faster eyelash loss. But it's completely different if it's time for a refill, but there is no time to go to do it. So, of course, mascara will be a great assistant and "disguise" the lack of eyelashes on your eyes.
  • HOW DO I CLEAN MY LASH EXTENSIONS?
Step 1: Removal All Makeup on and Around Your Eyes. Using an oil-free makeup remover, start to remove the makeup on and around your eyes. For example, if you’re removing eyeliner, take a lip applicator or soft clean make up brush and use a foam cleanser before brushing around the skin and lashes. Stay away from cotton buds. Fluff can get into the eyelashes and you’ll find it becomes incredibly difficult to remove. Step 2: Remove Your Foundation. If you tend to wear a lot of foundation, you need to remove this as well. Remove it using your preferred cleanser but stay away from the eyes. Particularly as many foundation removers are oil-based or contain some oil at the very least. Step 3: Wash Those Lashes. To wash them, you need to gently wet your eyes and lashes with some cool, not hot, water. Then take a little lash shampoo or a lash cleansing brush and work it up into a lather in the palm of your hand. Now apply it to your eyes and gently brush your lashes. Repeat this part of the process until your eyes feel clean and refreshed. Step 4: Rinse and Dry Those Lashes. Next, rinse your eyes off, so all the shampoo and excess dirt and makeup are removed from the area and your lashes. When it comes to the drying, much like with the washing, you need to avoid rubbing them, just pat/dab them gently with a soft paper tissue Step 5: Brush Those Lashes. Out The final part of cleaning your eyelashes is to simply give them a brush out, twirling your lash wand gently through them before fanning them out. Ensure that you never brush your lash extensions while they are wet. Dry them properly with a tissue or use the cold setting on a hair dryer.
